About:

Elizabeth in a person in long term recovery, with over 23 years of sustained sobriety. She began her recovery journey in the rooms of a 12-step fellowship and remains active in the fellowship as she enjoys helping others through sponsorship and service work. Elizabeth is a Certified Experiential Activities Specialist, a Nationally Designated Recovery Coach, a Certified Sobriety Coach. She is currently pursing educational opportunities as she works toward obtaining her Certified Addiction Counselor Credential. Elizabeth has over 13 years of experience in providing one on one recovery coaching, life skills education, ASAM level 1 group facilitation, curriculum development, intervention material development, individualized recovery plan development, case management, and program management. She has extensive experience serving in leadership roles as she has facilitated a multitude of trainings and presentations, including the facilitation of a Certified Sobriety Coach training program with a focus on women in recovery.  Additionally, she has expertise in business development, content creation, lifestyle photography, concert photography, and social media management. Elizabeth joined the Alana Recovery Center team in 2023 as a Client Advocate. 


Elizabeth is a musician, she attended Berklee College of Music in Boston. She has spent the last 15 years playing blues music around Atlanta. Elizabeth is a published author and photographer, specializing in concert photography and music reviews. She is passionate about volunteer work as well as advocating for recovery, mental health, autism, and the LGBTQ community. Elizabeth is values driven by connection, integrity, and service at her core. Elizabeth is a proud of her 2 adult children, Ian and Chandler. She loves spending time with her family and saltwater fishing; she adores her beautiful rescue puppy, Luna.
