About:

China Massop obtained her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in 2023. China joined the Alana Recovery team in 2023 as a therapist providing group and individual support to clients. China has a passion for helping others and extensive experience working with youth, adolescents, and families. She aspires to be an advocate for clients with a focus on practicing self-awareness, mindfulness, and solution. 

“Working with people in recovery allows me to see a different perspective of addiction. My aunt is a recovering addict and seeing my clients in recovery gives me hope and inspiration in knowing people are willing to change and rebuild themselves wholeheartedly without allowing their addiction to control the rest of their lives.” 

China enjoys self-care, traveling, spending time with loved ones, dance exercise classes, escape rooms and spontaneous adventures.
